You are cutting yourself way short by doing what you do now. as I stated before, I blend into the seat angle after the valve job. It seems to work well, but I'll take your recommendation into consideration if I ever port another set of heads :Your first statement came off as if you just ported on a wim without making any form of base guideline on where to run your dimension and cross section. I'd just be careful in what you describe in how you port. umm...what? My first statement wasn't meant to present a step by step guide in how I port heads. I just stated that I like to move the guides out of the way.
